4 Star Fort Cherry QB / Safety Matt Sieg committed to play football at Penn State this past Saturday. The Fort Cherry Jr. star led the Rangers to the WPIAL title and PIAA runner up as a Sophomore. So far this year as a junior he has led the Rangers to a back to back conference championship and 11-0 record. Sieg will lead the Rangers this Friday in a WPIAL quarterfinal match up against Cornell.

In her 5000 meter State Championship run Emily Frankovich ran a 19:58 finishing 4th in the State at Hershey on Nov 2nd. Congratulations Emily!!!!

The Fort Cherry Football team finished the regular season 10-0 and are Black Hills conference champs for the 2nd year in the row. The team secured the number one seed for the WPIAL playoffs which start this Friday November 1st. Fort Cherry will host Brentwood at 7pm on Friday night. Good luck Rangers and make another run at WPIAL and PIAA gold!

Emily Frankovich finished 2nd in the WPIAL and Lucia DeMicco finished 19th in the WPIAL at the WPIAL championship at White Oak last Thursday. Both qualified for States and will be heading to Hershey this weekend. Good luck ladies!

The Fort Cherry Volleyball team raised 4300 at their annual Dig Pink event for Breast Cancer Research. The Fort Cherry Cross Country team raised over 5000 for the Washington City Mission Shelter. Thank you FC teams for working hard to give back to the community and charity.

The Fort Cherry Varsity Girls Cross Country Team will have a banner added to the gym! The team went undefeated this year and captured the 1st section championship in school history! The have a few invitationals left this year and will compete in the individual WPIAL championships at the end of October. Way to go Lady Rangers!!!!!
